Bibliography: Willems, M. (2009). Naked mole rat gets dressed. New York: Hyperion Books for Children.

Annotation: This book is about the naked mole rat named Wilbur, however Wilbur was rarely naked. He was the only naked mole rat that dressed himself. All of the other naked mole rats mad fun of him. Wilbur got the idea to open a clothing store for the mole rats and he was mad fun of more. The mean naked mole rats took the dilemma up to Grand –pah and he made the proclamation that naked mole rats were allowed to wear cloths. Wilbur then became very popular among his friends

Genre: Fiction

Grade: K-4

Readers: Readers that don’t normally fit in with the crowd. Readers who like to be different and will stick to what they believe in.

Rate/Response: 8 I really enjoyed this book. I love the message that it is ok to be different and people are allowed to be different. I also enjoyed the illustrations.

Question: Has anyone made fun of you for being different? Do you enjoy being different?
