Hide!!!

Annotation: This book is about children getting ready to play a game of Hide and Seek after a weeks’ worth of rain. Rachel must find all of her friends with in the neighborhood. On each page is a friend of hers and you are supposed to find the friend and other items within the picture. Each page also has a rhyming section as well. Each page builds with the amount of items that must be found as well. The final amount of items that must be found is 14. After Rachel had found everyone it begins to rain again within the sky the only friend who did not run home was Tommy who was dry in his dogs house.

Readers: The readers that will enjoy this book are ones who really enjoy counting and finding hidden objects within the illustrations. Other readers that will enjoy this book are ones who enjoy rhyming.

Rate/Response: 10 I really enjoyed this book. I loved that there was poetry within the text and that the children could find the hidden kids and objects within the book. I also enjoyed that the book progressively became harder.
