Cinderella

Bibliographic Information (APA): Grimm. (1981). Cinderella. Illus. Nonny Hogrogian. New York, NY: Greenwillow Books.

Brief Annotation: The classic Cinderella story that is told in the U.S. Cinderella is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Her fairy godmother gives her a beautiful gown, glass slippers to wear to the ball, but the trick is that the magic wears off by midnight. Cinderella leaves a glass slipper behind at the ball when trying to leave by midnight.

Readers who will like this: Young children who like fairy tales, and/or that have seen the movie.

Response/Rating (1-4): 4 out of 4. This is still my favorite version of Cinderella. And it is a timeless classic.
