Madeline

Brief Annotation: Madeline is an orphan who lives with eleven other girls in a home in Paris. The girls did everything together with the woman who watched over them, Miss Clavel. One night Madeline fell ill and was rushed to the hospital where she had surgery. What happens next is no surprise!

Response/Rating: 3; this book was adorable, the flow of the words was almost poem like yet still managed to capture the story. I especially like that majority illustrations are done in only yellow, white and black.
