Brief Annotation: The youngest daughter of a poor farmer decides to marry a dragon to save her fathers life, though she is fearful of him at first. Once the dragon takes Seven (the youngest daughter) over the hills and mountains and finally deep into the sea, she realizes she is not afraid of the dragon and loves him more as he turns into a handsome prince. She agrees to marry him, but the wedding doesn't happen before Seven's little sister caves in and pretend she is the one the prince should marry.

Response/Rating: I would give this book a 4 because of the gorgeous lifelike illustrations and for the immense chinese culture that comes out in this story so well.
