Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Martin, B. (1989). Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. New York, New York: Simon & Schuster.

Brief Annotation: A rhythmic version on the alphabet. The letters of the alphabet decide to go to the top of the coconut tree and follow each other one after the other. It all seems like a good idea until the coconuts start to fall off and soon the letters follow behind.

Genre: Fiction alphabet book

Grade Level: K

Readers who will like this: Readers beginning to learn their ABC's and like a musical vibe to their reading.

Response/Rating: 4; I thought it was very catchy and a fun book as a read aloud especially!

Question: Who hear knows all of the letters of the alphabet?
