Bibliographic Information (APA): Bailey, S. (1978) The Little Rabbit Who Wanted Red Wings. Illus. Jacqueline Rogers. New York, NY: Grosset & Dunlap, Inc.

Brief Annotation: The little rabbit was never satisfied with himself. He always wanted to be different than who he was. One day he wonders to the wishing pond and wishes for red wings. His wish is granted. He hurries home to show his mother but she doesn't recognize him with his red wings. Sad, he returns to the wishing pond to wish his wings away. Once they were gone he realized he didn't want to be anything other than himself.
