Brief Annotation: Daniel is getting ready for bed when a riot breaks out in his neighborhood. There is a lot of commotion in the streets and throughout his apartment complex. Him and his mother evacuate the building and Daniel ends up loosing his cat. The lesson in the book is about uniting others and building friendships and accepting others that are different.
