Pete's A Pizza

Bibliography: Steig, William. Pete's a pizza. New York: HarperCollins Publishers, 1998. Print.

Annotation:

Pete’s a Pizza is a book that is about a young boy who is feeling down because he cannot go outside and play because it is raining out. His parents then decide to play a game with him and make him into a pizza. By the time he is done cooking the sun comes out in time for him to play.

Genre: Fiction

Grade Level: Preschool -1st grade

Readers: Boys and girls when the weather is not nice enough to play in.

Rating: 4 The story is cute and good for rainy days. However it is a book that is simple for young child and personally for me a somewhat boring story for kids. This would be a good book for child just learning to read.

Question: The question that I would ask would be, “Raise your hand if you like pizza.” “Raise your hand if you have ever been made into a pizza”
