Genre: Animal Fantasy

Grade Level: Kindergarten-2nd grade

Readers who will like this: Children who love fantasy and books that feature the "good" character and the "evil" one. Also children who like stories about friendship.

Rate/Response: I would give this book 4 out of 4 because it is a rather comforting story that features a loyal, yet unusual, type of friend. It teaches children that friendships come in many different styles.

Question: Does anyone have a friend who stands up for them? How does it make you feel?
