Brief Annotation: Sylvester loves collecting pebbles, one day he comes across a rare pebble, unlike any in his collection. As he learns more and more about just how special this pebble is he finds himself not quite the same as he was prior to finding this pebble. When he doesn’t arrive home his parents begin to search for him but will they be able to find and recognize him?

Rating/ Response: 4; This heart-wrenching book has the reader sitting on the edge of their seats; hoping for the best! It shows that not everything you wish for will make you happy. I love the ending and the message behind the book!
