Brief Annotation: Retells the story of Bellerophon, son of the king of Corinth. With the advice of a well-known soothsayer he finds the winged horse Pegasus near the fountain of Peirene. A luminous woman comes to Bellerophon in a dream while sleeping near the fountain, she gives him a bridle named “trust” that binds him and Pegasus together as brothers. Pegasus allows Bellerphon the hero to ride him to defeat the Chimera; The monster that has been terrorizing the land.
