Brief Annotation: A story about Patricia’s older brother Richard. They are constantly fighting on who can do something better or faster than the other. Richard likes to trick her and seems to be winning every battle. Patricia wishes on a falling star that she will be able to do something better than her older brother. The next day her family goes to the carnival and she ends up riding the merry-go-round longer than Richard does! The next thing she knows, she wakes up to Richard telling her that she has finally done something special.

Response/Rating (1-4): 4 out of 4. This was an awesome book! Every kid has their own battle with their siblings that they are able to relate to this.
