Brief Annotation: Piggie and Gerald are best friends. In this story, Gerald accidentally breaks Piggie’s new toy! Piggie gets very upset with Gerald, who feels terrible. When they realize the toy isn’t broken they decide playing with friends is much more fun than playing with things.

Readers who will like this: Children who enjoy Elephant and Piggie books, animal fantasy stories, and Mo Willems books.

Response/Rating (1-4): 4; At this point, it doesn’t even need to be said that I love Mo Willems. Once again, he delivers an adorable book that doesn’t disappoint! I love this series!
