Bibliography: Willems, Mo. (2007). Knuffle Bunny Too. New York, NY: Hyperion Books for Children.
Brief Annotation: In this book, Trixy is back. She is older now and ready to go to pre-kindergarten. Excited to show all of her classmates her one-of-a-kind knuffle bunny, she is surprised to find that Sonja has a knuffle bunny too! Will the knuffle bunnies bring Trixie and Sonja together?
Genre: Picture book, Fiction
Grade Level: Pre-K -2
Readers who will like this: Children who like pictures and who have a favorite stuffed animal.
Response/Rating (1-4): 4; This book is very cute. I like that it involves the same characters as the first Knuffle Bunny. It’s a great text to introduce the concept of a book series. Once again Mo Willems creates a wonderful book with amazing illustrations.
One question you would ask before a read aloud: Have you ever met someone who had the same favorite toy as you? Was that person your friend? How did you meet your best friend? Do you have a best friend?
