Response/Rating: 2; this book is a very good book at explaining a different culture than what most children have at home. I found the simple pictures to be amazing; through color they showed emotion that was being felt by the reader. It was interesting to read a book with a different dialect then my own, which I can imagine would be difficult to read aloud. Overall this was a very well written book, with beautiful pictures.

One question you would ask before a read aloud: Have you ever changed your mind about someone, at first you didn’t like him or her, but once you got to know him or her you did?
